ARTHUR LASKY

ARTHUR LASKY, R.A., NCARB - Principal Certifications: NCARB Registered Architect in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Education: Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University, Master of Architecture from Columbia University           

Experience: Projects of Mr. Lasky’s design have been built across the United States as well as in Mexico, Canada, Peru, the Dominican Republic, and China. His works range widely in building type, scale, and budget from small scale residential to large scale industrial. His advice is sought out as an expert in high security installations for the jewelry and precious metal industries. He established his own firm in 1993, before cofounding Silberstang Lasky Architects in 2005. Mr.Lasky has taught at Columbia University and NYC Technical College, and has served as a guest critic at Pratt Institute. His work as a sculptor is in numerous private collections.

ALAN BARRY SILBERSTANG

ALAN BARRY SILBERSTANG, R.A., NCARB -Principal Certifications: NCARB Registered Architect in New York and New Jersey.

Education: Bachelor of Architecture from The Cooper Union                                     

Experience: Mr. Silberstang’s work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art.He has served as guest critic at the Cooper Union, The City College of New York and the University of Virginia at Charlottesville. After working for Richard Meier, Charles Gwathmey, and Peter Eisenman, he founded a firm in 1988 which he later merged with Arthur Lasky Architects in 2005. His experience encompasses projects as diverse as educational facilities, religious institutions, housing, restaurants, veterinary hospitals, factories, and private residences. His design for a Suffolk County 9/11 Memorial won a public competition and can be visited in Hauppauge, Long Island NY.
